SeaTec completes $150K repair job for Singapore vessel
In January, SeaTec successfully completed a range of repairs for Chennai based vessel Telluride.
The vessel, which arrived on the outer anchorage of Singapore, required the upgrading of deck fabric in addition to general repairs and maintenance. Surya Yadav, Commercial Director at SeaTec, detailed the various jobs undertaken: “The team initially focused on repairs to the main propulsion, following which they completed a full service of the hydraulic and pneumatic controls, aux machinery and on-deck equipment. The pipes in the engine room were then fully repaired, before the team finished the job by painting and repairing the deck fabric which was showing signs of wear and tear.”
The value of the work carried out by SeaTec amounted to over $150,000 and was completed within the agreed timeframe and to SeaTec’s usual high standard. “Our 24 hour operations centre, which launched last September, has been instrumental in ensuring quality repair services for customers across the globe. Thanks to the high quality repair and maintenance work carried out in this instance, Telluride was able to resume operations on time, much to the customer’s satisfaction.”
