SeaTec celebrate the recent launches on consecutive days of two newly-built ships for which SeaTec provided expert guidance during construction.
WG Columbus is Western Geco’s newest seismic vessel launched at Hijos de J Barreras Shipyard in Vigo, Spain on Tuesday 3 June. SeaTec provided site supervision for the project as part of our contract with Western Geco to provide design, construction and support services for new build, conversion and refit projects.
On Wednesday 4 June, product tanker CS Weymouth was launched at Shenfei Group’s Fanshun Shipyard near Wenzhou, Zhenjiang Province in China on behalf of shipowner Courtney Fynn. For this project SeaTec provided project management, plan approval and site supervision services. CS Weymouth will undertake final commissioning and trials for delivery in August.
