Tino Rizzo

Managing Director

Tino is the Managing Director of SeaTec, a division of V., overseeing a comprehensive range of maritime services on a global scale. With a career spanning multiple roles — including vessel conversions and refits, decarbonization strategies, and digitalization initiatives — he has developed a deep expertise in the shipping industry.

Having lived and worked across three continents, Tino brings a truly international perspective, adept at navigating diverse cultural and operational landscapes. Based in Monaco, he is responsible for all of SeaTec’s service offerings, including projects & new builds, inspection, repairs, navigation & communication, and condition monitoring. His leadership extends across multiple sites worldwide, and he regularly travels to SeaTec’s 14 offices to ensure seamless collaboration and service excellence.

A forward-thinking, tech-savvy professional, Tino combines strategic vision with a solid technical foundation. He holds a master’s degree in naval architecture and marine engineering, graduating cum laude, which underpins his expertise in driving innovation and operational efficiency within the maritime sector.

Ulrika Quist

Administration and Resources General Manager

Ulrika joined SeaTec in 2010 and currently looks after the organisation’s admin and resources. She is based in Monaco.

Ulrika has a solid background in the shipping and maritime industry having previously worked for Silversea and Costa Crociere.

Nick Laker

Operations Director for Underwater

Nick is a Chartered Civil Engineer who began his career working on the design of shipping terminals, offshore wind farms and O&G platforms. Since then, Nick has spent time managing the design and construction of marine and shore based civil engineering assets. Nick joined SeaTec Subsea in 2016 as a Project Manager overseeing a six month long corrosion protection and welding project. Nick then became the UK General Manager and in 2021 was promoted to Director responsible for all global subsea operations.

Surya Yadav

Commercial Director

Commercial Director Surya first joined V.Group in 2007 as a superintendent. He re-joined the company in 2013, working in a variety of roles including general manager, regional sales and marketing director and business development director before assuming responsibility for all of SeaTec’s commercial activity in 2019.

In addition to SeaTec, Surya’s background in the maritime industry includes appointments as a senior technical superintendent for Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and Fleet Management Limited, as well as a chief engineer for a number of vessels.

Surya has a PhD in management from SR University in Rajathstan, an MBA and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a P. E.  He is based in Singapore.
