Seatec Repairs deployed a riding squad of three welders on board the MV Peregrine to carry out repairs on several parts of the damaged hull.
The team intervened on No.5 BWT outer plate by applying many layers of welding from the outside, followed by inner welding the day after. Small welding works on FR No.36 have also been undertaken.
The repair works on the vessel’s hull were completed according to Class requirements and met with the full satisfaction of the Lloyd’s Register Class inspector and P&I surveyor.
